Rapper Future’s ex Brittni Mealy asks judge to throw him in jail for failing to comply with court order

Future’s ex-girlfriend, Brittni Mealy, has asked a court to jail the rapper over an alleged failure to comply with a legal order concerning their 12-year-old son, Prince.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Mealy claimed Future did not fulfil a 2023 court directive requiring him to secure a $500,000 life insurance policy naming her as trustee for their son.

She is now seek ing to have the rapper held in contempt of court and incarcerated until the issue is resolved. Back in 2023, a judge had also approved an increase in child support payments, ordering Future to pay $5,000 per month, up from the previous $3,000.

As of now, Future has not responded to the latest petition. The case adds to ongoing legal tensions between the two over financial and parental responsibilities.
